In presentation display casewith select rosewood handle, serial #29 and engraved on guard “Michael Wayne”. This Bowie knife was last sold by Little John’s Antique Arms in 2004 for the Estate of Michael Wayne, son of John Wayne, who produced theepic film The Alamo, and was deeply involved with the career of his father and produced many of his films after 1960 and ran the Wayne family production business until his passing. The knife measures 15” overall with9-7/8” blade. The knife is excellent to mint, the showcase shows some slight storage, normal aging. An impressive commemorative with motion picture provenance.
