<B>Comic Monthly #1 and 2 Group (Embee Dist. Co., 1922) Condition: Average VG-.</B></I> This was the first monthly 10-cent comic book! Issue #1 (VG) features Polly & Her Pals, and #2 (GD/VG) features Mike & Ike by Rube Goldberg. The "Em" in publisher Embee is none other than George McManus, and both issues have ads for a "Bringing Up Father" game on the inside covers! The covers of both issues are attached firmly. Interior pages are slightly brittle. #1 has some pencil markings on the back cover; #2 has some pencil on the front cover. Overstreet notes "All issues are extremely hard to find these days," and we had never seen either of the first two issues before.
