Comic Art #2 Fanzine (1961?). Unlike its contemporary Alter-Ego, Don and Maggie Thompson's classic fanzine Comic Art did not concern itself with superhero comics. The zine was much more geared towards comic strips, and non-hero comics, and tended to skew towards the more literary, even though, as Don points out in his editorial, they don't believe comics to be "literature with a capital 'L'." This issue features an extensive letter column (with missives from Harvey Kurtzman and Carl Barks), and much more. The condition of this copy is a solid FN, with the back cover/last page detached. This magazine is not listed in Overstreet.
