Three pieces from comedy geniuses. First is an 8 x 10-inch B&W inscribed and signed photo by Jackie Gleason. Next, an 8 x 10-inch B&W signed photo from the cast of "The Carol Burnett Show" including Burnett, Harvey Korman, Tim Conway and Vickie Lawrence. lastly, we offer an autograph from comedy television pioneer, Sid Caesar. As a bonus, on the reverse of Caesar's autograph, is a signature of entertainer, Sammy Davis Jr. Jackie Gleason (1916-1987), found enduring fame on television. After first appearing in The Life of Riley, the rotund comedian starred on The Jackie Gleason Show, where he created such legendary characters as Ralph Kramden (the bus driver on The Honeymooners segment of the show), Reggie Van Gleason and Joe the Bartender. As a result of the comedic talents he displayed on TV, he became known as "The Great One. A writer and regular performer on TV's live Your Show of Shows (1950-1954), comedian Sid Caesar (1922-2014) hosted a series of shows bearing his name for another decade. He earned an Emmy Award for Best Actor in 1952, and the following year Caesar and Imogene Coca were voted Best Comedy Team in a poll by "Motion Picture Daily". Caesar's autobiography, Where Have I Been? (1979), documents his subsequent struggles with pills and alcohol, but he has continued to appear in cameo roles in films, such as Vegas Vacation (1997).The Carol Burnett Show, which won numerous Emmys for both the program and its individual stars, Tim Conway (1933-2019), Harvey Korman (1927-2008), Vickie Lawrence and Lyle Wagonner (1935-2020).
