Colorado Gold Mining, Midway Plaisance, World's Fair. Three page pamphlet discusses an exhibit at the expo.: an Automatic Model of a mine created by "William Keast, a miner, who worked upon it for four and one-half years." The model is based on the Saratoga Mine in Gilpin County, Colorado. Claims "you cannot get a better idea of the underground workings of a mine by examining this model than if you spend a month in a mine." No picture or illustration. 5.5" x 3.5" (Prag Collection)
