The Masonic Temple was located at State and Randolph Streets in Chicago, Illinois. It stood 321 feet tall with 21 floors. The Masonic Temple was the tallest office building of its time, but was torn down in 1939.
Daniel Burnham was the architect of our first sky scrapper.
Beside the Masonic Temple in the bowl, there is a profile view of Christopher Columbus over a world with a banner reading "Columbus" and a heart below that with the 1492- 1893. On the reverse there is an anchor, cupid, and what appears to be a symbol of Mercury
This is a very good spoon. When you add the gold tone bowl, it becomes a great spoon from the Columbian Exposition
