<B>Columbia, SC- State of South Carolina</B></I> $1000 Bond 1871 Cr. 71A<BR>This rare bond is unissued and it has a lateral center fold. It and its 39 coupons have each been cut cancelled. Almost every cut cancel has been repaired with tape. Some aging is also noticed on this bond that was once mounted with tape to construction paper. The lower left corner tip is missing, too.
