Colt single action army revolver, cavalry series, US martially marked and inspected. 7-1/2” barrel, .45 Colt caliber, blue and case hardened finish, cartouche wood grips, serial #132255. This RAC inspected singleaction remains in original very good plus to near fine condition. The barrel retains approx. 80-90% original military blue finish drifting at the muzzle from being carried in a holster with some light erosion andpinprick pitting just starting on the forward inch-and a half of barrel on left side from contact with holster, otherwise barrel retains nearly all its original blue with crisp edges and sharp barrel address. Thefront sight shows correct military polish or feathering. The ejector rod housing shows 60-80% ORIGINAL blue, drifting on its outside edge with some scratches. The cylinder shows 50-70% original blue thinning and toningwith an index line between cylinder stops, some normal aging, and bright blue in the flutes. The frame retains 50-70% case hardening beginning to drift to patina with some brilliant rainbow hues where protected.
