Colt pre-war Woodsman .22 caliber semiautomatic pistol with 6 ½” barrel, tapped muzzle with screw on cap, blued finish, checkered wood grips. Serial number 28866 made 1922. The machine work on the end of the barrel appears to be factory and probably to accept a Maxim device. The pistol retains approximately 85% to 95% original blue with some minor spotting and erosion. Slight losses of finish at high points and edges.The markings are sharp and crisp. The grips are very good plus with just some slight wear and minor oil staining. The interior is very good and slightly dirty which would clean and a original two-tone Colt clip isincluded. .
