Colt pre-war Woodsman .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol with 6 ½” barrel, blue finish, checkered wood grips, early series made in 1st year of production serial number 295. This 3 digit early Woodsman showsapproximately 70% to 80% original blue with some losses on left side of barrel, some minor scratches and just normal aging. The markings are sharp and crisp and this Colt shows the early address and rampant Colt atrear of slide. The grips are good with slight wear to the top of the checkering and are at least very good overall. The action is good and the bore is bright. A two-tone clip with oil hole on reverse side is correct andretained. Low serial numbers are always desirable and this Woodsman was made in the 1st few months of 1915.
