Colt pre-war .38 super cal. semi-automatic pistol, blued finish, checkered wood grips, sold to Winchester Repeating Arms Company, shipped to British Purchasing Commission, New York, NY, July 15, 1940, 1,000 guns inshipment, serial #35840. The pistol shows small British proofs on right rear of slide indicating receipt by British for the Battle of Britain. The pistol shows 7 correct milled parts and approximately 90-95%original blue, some losses at gripping areas and edges, some minor scratches and spots. The grips are from an earlier Model 1911 Colt. The interior is fine to excellent with bright bore, a Colt .38 super markedcommercial clip is included. Est.: $2,750-$5,500

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
