Colt pocket model of Navy caliber, .36 caliber, desirable 6-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, varnish wood grip, serial number “3167”. The revolver remains in very good original condition showing approx 30-60% original finish with some scattered erosion and surface pitting and some small areas of slightly heavier pitting at the muzzle. Good barrel address, crisp edges, and some bright blue mixing in the patina. The cylinder shows 10-20% blue, mixing with a brown patina, and approx. 50-70% cylinder scene with a couple of areas of erosion and pitting. The cylinder, hammer, and rammer show strong evidence of case color going smoky grey among a light patina. The varnish wood grips are good other than a chip from right bottom near the tow, some wear at the edges, and a couple of dings and mars with one deep ding on the right side. About 30-60% varnish. All matching visible serial numbers, good action, good interior. With inventory sheet from the Charles DuPont collection, purchased 1985 from Richard Littlefield. Est: $2,000 - $4,000
