Colt model 1911.45 automatic, US military issue, serial #322423. Left side of the frame shows eagle and S11 proof, just above the magazine release. The left front of the frame has been hand stamped with the number“33430576”. The pistol shows an arsenal type refinish with replacement diamond checkered wood grips. About 70% thinning old blue finish remains. Action is good, bore is near excellent. A “C-R” marked WWII magazine isretained. Collector’s tag states issued WWI, reissued WWII to 11th A/G and GI serial number is stamped on the front left of frame. Dr. Sterling Fenn collection. Est: $1,000 - $2,000
