Colt model 1878 exposed hammer 10ga double-barrel shotgun in very good plus original condition, serial #15830. The barrels show 80-90% original tobacco brown and most of their original striped pattern,just some normal marks and normal aging. The locks show 30-50% case hardening drifting to a silvery grey. Triggerguard shows traces of original blue, the stock shows a rounded pistol grip and is in good condition withnice grey, some scratches, even wear, small losses, minor imperfections. The original hard-rubber buttplate shows a chip at the top and some small losses. The release lever shows most of its original blue. The gunlocks tight, the bores are near excellent. An exceptional 10ga Colt and has been well cared for. Est: $2,000 - $4,000
