Colt model 1878 double-action revolver, .44-40 caliber, 7-1/2” barrel, blue finish, hardrubber grips, lanyard in butt, #41753. The pistol shows 85-95% original blue, just thinning at the muzzle, high points, and gripping areas. The left side of the barrel shows Colt Frontier Six Shooter marking, and the front sight is slimmed very slightly. The grips fit perfectly and are in very good to fine condition, just some slight edgewear. The back of the hammer shows most of its bright fire blue, as do the small parts and screw. There is some just beginning age and darkening, pinprick rust. The action is tight, the bore near excellent. A very sharp and crisp 1878 showing little use. Est: $2,000 - $4,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
