Colt model 1877 ‘Lightning’ storekeeper’s model, .38 caliber, 2-1/2” barrel nickel plated, hardrubber grips, serial #25618. The pistol shows 30-50% original nickel that is lifting. The areas where the nickel ismissing have gone to a dark patina with some pitting and erosion just starting. The etched panel is mostly legible but bubbly. The patent dates are good, there are some nicks around the edge of the front sight area. Thebarrel address is good, patent dates are good, grips good. Action is working, bore fair. Est: $500 - $1,000
