Colt model 1862 pocket Navy, .36 caliber percussion, 6-1/2” barrel, old renickeled finish, original ivory grips, serial #2889. The revolver shows approx. 80-90% of an old period renickeled finish, with some areas of peeling and flaking, areas where nickel has peeled shows a grey patina with some slight pitting just starting. The barrel address and edges are fair to good. The scene is about 60% intact. All matching visible serial numbers. The one-piece ivory grips are of the period, are slightly undersize on the backstrap and show some normal wear and aging and may be from another revolver. The action is not revolving, the numbers are all matching, the nickel is a soft patina and definitely of the 19th century. The 6-1/2” pocket navy is difficult to find with estimates of less than 500 made. Est: $2,000 - $4,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
