Colt model 1860 Army revolver, .44 percussion, brown patina finish, wood grips, 4-screw variation, early Civil War era, serial #12305. The pistol remains in fair to good original condition showing a deep brown patina finish, scattered light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting, some slightly heavier erosion to the barrel and rear of cylinder. The grips are darkened from oil and carry, and show old repairs, small losses at the edges, general carry and aging, and about fair overall. The barrel address and patent markings are legible, all matching visible serial numbers. Good action, fair interior, some dings, mars, dents, consistent with military issue and use. The front sight is slimmed slightly. An old veteran that was sure to have seen service. Est: $800 - $1,600
