Colt model 1860 Army Richards Mason conversion, .44 centerfire, 8” barrel, shows smaller barrel lug similar to ’72 opentop. Short Colt’s patent cartridge-era address. 1871/72 patent dates. .44 caliber stamped on left rear of trigger guard. Traces of blue and case hardened finish. Serial #6047. One of approx. 2,100 produced in the cartridge era. Refer Flayderman 5B-020. The revolver remains on good to very good original condition showing 10-20% original blue on barrel and cylinder, mostly in protected areas and drifting to a grayish brown patina, some heavier pitting, blood type, at rear area top of barrel, slightly larger than a thumb print and a couple other areas thumbprint size on left side of barrel. The front sight has been slimmed slightly, the barrel address is good. The cylinder shows 60-70% original scene with light engagement dates at edge. The frame shows 30-50% finish darkening to a grayish brown patina with feint colors. The trigger guard show 80-90% original silver plate. The backstrap shows 10-20% dulling original blue. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
