Colt model 1860 Army, .44 percussion caliber revolver, US Martially inspected, blue and case hardened finish, cartouche wood grips, serial #68741. The barrel retains 80-90% original arsenal blue finish, evenly toningand thinning slightly with some minor scratches, ultra sharp edges, and razor sharp barrel address. The cylinder shows 75-85% original blue, evenly thinning and toning with 90-95% original cylinder scene. Justsome slight drifting, normal aging, and all but one safety pin intact on back of cylinder. The frame shows 80-90% case hardening, only dulling slightly, with strong case hardening. The loading lever and hammer show 80% plus original case hardening, slightly toning. The grips show a sharp three-letter cartouche on the left side which is fully visible. 50% cartouche on right side, two letters visible. The grips fitimpeccably and are near excellent with just a light application of linseed oil. All matching visible serial numbers.
