Colt model 1855 .56 caliber rifled musket, 31-3/16” barrel, military finish, military wood stocks, serial #3150. No US markings, small “K” type inspection on rear of triggerguard bow. The musket shows restoration to the forend and some cleaning and rebrowning. The markings on the frame and on the left side of frame and top of frame are fully visible. There shows some pitting on the top of the frame, the left side of the frame has been cleaned and colored to remove pitting as ha the cylinder. The buttstock is good with some minor dings and mars, slight scratches. The original rear sight is retained. Back of the cylinder shows some firing and dents from use. The cylinder pin shows some marring. The ramrod is a replacement. The bore is worn and rough and the gun has seen hard military type use. Est: $4,000 - $5,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
