Colt model 1849 pocket model, .31 caliber percussion, 4” barrel, 5-shot cylinder, two-line Hartford address, iron backstrap and triggerguard, brown patina finish, varnish wood grips, serial #186112. This scarce variation shows a grey patina finish, scattered light to moderate erosion and surface pitting, a couple areas of slight heavier pitting. The barrel address is good, patent markings good, cylinder shows 20-40% scene. The varnish wood grips are good with 30-50% varnish wearing at the edges, minor scratches, minor wear, good overall. Matching serial numbers other that cylinder which is #3225. The wedge screw has been sheared off and the head missing. A significant variation with returned London iron straps, probably 200 made. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
