Colt gold-cup .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol, series 70, factory “D” engraved, blue finish, checkered wood medallion grips, shipped to Bob’s guns and supplies, Augusta Rd. Weaver, IA. August 26, 1983, one gun in shipment. Serial #70N79221. Letter addressed to noted collector and dealer Harrison Carroll. Letter mentions that the extra conversion unit were not mentioned and the pistol was processed on Colt custom order #1610. With factory letter. The pistol remains in excellent to near mint condition, 98% plus original blue, excellent medallion grips. No evidence of firing, just some cycling and handling. The pistol is equipped with a conversion unit in .22 caliber which is nicely scroll engraved and matches well and appears to be by the same hand. The set is contained within a high quality leather and hardwood custom leather case lined in green felt, fitted in French style with select rosewood accessories. Compartment contains tools, extra engraved slide release, Butterfield tag #403, extra .22 caliber magazine, and oiler. The case is fine to excellent also. Harrison Carroll was a knowledgeable collector and dealer and may have had the extra slide engraved through the factory

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
