Colt experimental model SSP, 9mm double-action semiautomatic pistol, 14-round staggered magazine, stainless steel construction, impressed checkered Colt medallion grips, serial number “GX9736. Made for military tests with documentation and manual detailing the specifications and characteristics of this test piece. The pistol remains in near fine condition showing some slight scratches, handling, minor use from testing. Interior shows firing but near excellent overall. One of a few in private hands and never offered for sale on the commercial market as a production model. Note: 14-round magazine cannot be delivered to California residents. Consignor will ship magazine to successful legal buyer in other 49 states. California purchasers can purchase the firearm, but no magazine will be supplied. Est: $6,000-12,000
