Colt Woodsman .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol, blued finish, checkered wood grips, serial #85097, with holster and affidavit attesting to ownership by “Big Gene”, who worked with Al Capone, and whose given namewas Eugene Westergon. The pistol remains in good original condition with approx. 40-60% original blue, some pitting and erosion from contact with its holster, good markings, good grips, good action, good bore, correctWoodsman marked magazine. An affidavit is dated August 17th, 1994, signed by James R. Ireland, notarized Alberta, Canada, who states the aforementioned pistol was purchased from Big Gene’s estate. Big Genewas a member of the Capone mob in Chicago and lived at the Lexington Hotel. He assisted with running booze across the border and all manners of nefarious activity. The town became too hot for Gene and he left after ashooting incident during a rum-running caper. He emigrated West and North in the 1940’s and was well known throughout Canada.
