Colt U.S. Cavalry SAA revolver, Ainsworth inspected, .45 cal., 7-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #11532 in overall very good condition showing scattered traces of muted blue with considerable plum brown patina and case color in protected areas of frame; matching visible serial numbers, correct italic barrel address, “A” inspector’s initial on barrel, trigger guard, cylinder and backstrap, with “P” proof on barrel and cylinder; crisp action, sharpmarkings and good to very good bore. The grips are in very good to fine condition with sharp “OWA” inspector’s cartouche on the left grip. A very nice early martial Single Action with great grips! (Antique): Est.: $10,000-$15,000.
