Colt U.S. Cavalry Model SAA revolver, Ainsworth inspected, .45 cal., 7-1/2” barrel, wood grips, #11722 in overall very good condition showing an even grey patina on metal surfaces, all matching visible serial numbers including the barrel, sharp markings with correct italicized barrel address, very good to fine bore, crisp action, proper “P” proof marks and “A” inspection marks, very good to near fine grips with Ainsworth cartouche on left grip showing approx. 75% (principally the O andA); “donut hole” ejector rod. A really nice all matching Ainsworth U.S. Colt with great grips. Est.: $4,500-$9,000.
