Colt U.S. Cavalry Model SAA revolver, .45 cal., 7-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #416; trigger guard #416 (“A” inspected); backstrap #416 (“A” inspected); cylinder #416 (“A” inspected); barrel #416 (“P” proof visible, no“A” visible); wood grips with no visible cartouches, in overall very good condition showing a dark patina with scattered spots of pitting at the muzzle area and a series of old “hash marks” on the backstrap and the front grip strap; goodaction, fair bore with some rough spots, good markings with italicized barrel address, good grips with a couple old mars and dings from carry and storage; some knackering on the bottom of the grips from hammering.
