Colt U.S. Cavalry Model SAA revolver, .45 cal., 7-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #114525, all matching visible serial numbers. This gun is in overall fine condition showing approx. 80% original blue finish on barrel assembly with scattered light just starting drifting of finish and slight pin prick pitting, cylinder and straps that also have some drifting and slight pin prick pitting, approx. 80% muted original case colors on the frame and hammer; some nicks around the cylinder pin; sharp markings including inspector “P”s and “D.F.C.”s on revolver components, very good bore, crisp action, very good to fine grips with both inspectors’ cartouches on the grips and the date “188_”.
