Colt U.S. Artillery Model SAA revolver, .45 cal., 5-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, 120067(D.F.C. inspected); trigger guard is #54099; backstrap is #70983; cylinder is 10__ with “J” inspection; barrel is 0_33 and “D.F.C.”inspected. This gun is in overall fine condition showing the majority of its bright blue finish on the barrel, considerable blue on the ejector rod housing, cylinder and straps; the majority of its case colors on the frame and considerable case onthe hammer; fine bore, crisp action, sharp markings, overall very good to fine grips with crisp RAC cartouche on the left grip and 1903 date, “R.A.C.” stamped inspections on the bottom of each grip along with old carved “X-X” on bottom of each grip.
