Colt U.S. Artillery Model SAA revolver, .45 cal., 5-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #2973; trigger guard #137085 (“k” inspected); backstrap #120336; cylinder #47943 (“H.N.” inspected); barrel #10300 (“A” inspected); wood grips with partial cartouche on left grips and “Jack Olson” punch dot marked on curve of left grip; “36”stamped on right grip. This Colt is in overall very good + condition showing considerable military re-blue on metal surfaces, crisp action, good markings and very good bore; grips are good to very good with knackering on the bottom of the grips from hammering and small losses to the front toes of the grips.
