Colt U.S. Army Model 1917 Double Action Revolver
Manufactured from 1917 to 1925. The barrel is marked "COLT DA 45" on the left side, the top has the two line Hartford address/patent dates and "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the underside. The left side of the frame has the Rampant Colt and a "JMH" inspector mark. Matching serial number on frame and crane. Smooth walnut grips marked "RA" on bottom of right grip, with "U.S. / ARMY/ MODEL / 1917/ No / 53 / 665" and a lanyard ring on the butt.

Excellent. The revolver retains nearly 90% original blue finish overall with wear and finish loss on the grip straps, with some light scratches overall. There is a light cylinder drag line. The grips are excellent with some minor dings and scratches, along with some minor bottom edge wear.
