Colt Single Action Army revolver, sheriff’s model, .45 caliber, 2” barrel, fully and finely inlaid with gold inlay, signed by Ken Hurst. Screwless ivory grips, serial #113SE2. The revolver shows flush gold inlays withscales of justice on left recoil shield, silver inlaid sheriff’s star on loading gate, hangman’s noose inlaid in silver on backstrap, line gold borders. The balance nicely engraved in foliate scroll and fullblue finished. The revolver shows 99% blue, finished at time of engraving. Pistol shows no evidence of use or firing, just slight handling. Also the revolver shows blackpowder type frame with screw and blackpowder patent dates. Ken Hurst is a well recognized master engraver who has worked for the factory and outside contract commissions. Very nicely decorated and ornamented Colt Single Action with great Western motifs. Est: $4,000 -8000
