Colt Single Action Army revolver in .450 Boxer caliber with 7 ½” barrel, nickel plated, varnished wood grips, serial number 22950. This early Colt remains in very good plus to near fine original condition andshows small cartridge era British proofs. This pistol retains 50% to 70% original nickel with most of the drifting and losses on the rear portion of the barrel. Areas where the nickel has lifted have gone to alight gray with some beginning erosion and pinprick pitting just starting in these areas. The frame is near excellent with most of its original nickel and just some beginning light pinprick pitting and cylinder is in like condition to frame. There is a slight index line on the cylinder. The straps and ejector rod housing retains most of their original nickel plate with just some small areas of loss and aging. All matchingvisible serial numbers (Including cylinder).
