Colt Single Action Army revolver in .44-40 caliber, 7 ½” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, hard rubber Eagle grips, serial number 135523. This Colt shows a roll die marked barrel which reads, “Colt Frontier Six Shooter”. Approximately 30% to 50% original blue and case hardened finish remain with good sharp edges, some minor pinprick pitting and slight normal aging. The markings are sharp and clear. The front sight is itsoriginal full height and shows a lot of blue. All matching serial numbers. The grips show considerable edge wear and are slightly undersized. The hammer shows considerable original case hardening and there is somebright blue and case hardening where protected on the entire revolver. The frame screw and cylinder pin show some slight mars. The action is good, the bore is good, and there is an extension screw mounted in therear position of the frame for a shoulder stock which is included. The shoulder stock is an excellent old reproduction made in the 1950s to 60s. Est.: $2,500-$5,000.
