Colt Single Action Army revolver, 7-1/2” barrel, .45 caliber, blue and nickel serial #38544. The blackpowder revolver shows an old non-factory engraving in western scroll motifs. The pistol shows matching blackpowder parts other than ejector rod and hammer. Three-line patent dates, old thick hand-made ivory grips. The pistol shows approx. 85-95% toning nickel finish with blued ejector rod, cylinder, and backstrap. The grips show someaging and toning. The front sight has been slimmed slightly, the action is good, the bore fair to good. There are some small replacement of screws. It is our thought that this pistol would have movie or historicalassociation as it is from the Robert Petersen collection, or may have been a gift or some personal history. Est: $1,750 - $3,500
