Colt Single Action Army revolver, 5 ½” barrel, U.S. marked, re-blued finish, pearl grips, serial number 60946. Originally an artillery series revolver with mismatched numbers. This single action was re-barreled and refinished with a new hammer added and new grips in the 1950s to 60s when the single action craze reached its zenith. The revolver is fine to near excellent condition as refinished with approximately 95% to 98% good quality blue possibly restored by Colt but not marked. Good action and fine bore, crisp overall. Must be registered as a firearm due to the modern barrel and cylinder. Est.: $1,250-$2,500.
