Colt Single Action Army revolver, .45 caliber, 7-1/2” barrel, ornately scroll engraved, gold plated, cast Tiffany style grips, serial #23906. The revolver has been ornamented in the 20th century as a display piece and approx. 80-90% gold over nickel finish remains, with some lifting of the gold going to the baseplate of nickel. Visible patent dates and markings, good bore, the engraving is full coverage but somewhat busy and not a recognized pattern. The grips are undersized simulations of the civil war scene that are probably made by Eagle Artworks of St. Louis who crafted a number of these display pieces for Abercrombie & Fitch of Chicago in the 1960’s and 70’s. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
