Colt Single Action Army revolver .45 caliber, 7-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, serial #107333. Factory letter confirms features except barrel and stocks “Not Listed”. Shipped to Harley &Graham, New York, NY. July 18, 1884. 50 guns in shipment. The revolver remains in original good to very good condition showing a strong 10-20% original blue and case hardening drifting to patina with some light cleaninglong ago in period of use. Some very light scattered erosion and pinprick pitting. Good markings, good edges. Front sight slimmed slightly. Grips show a few dings, mars, scratches, but are also good. The three-linepatent date, caliber marking, and barrel address are all good and visible. All matching serial numbers. There are two notches cut at the left top grip. The triggerguard and hammer show some brightfinish as does the backstrap where protected. The action is tight, the bore is good to very good. A good example of a frontier era Colt.
