Colt Single Action Army revolver, .45 cal., 4-3/4" barrel, blue and case hardened finish, hard rubber eagle grips, shipped to E. J. Post, Albuquerque, New Mexico Territory, March 23, 1887, with information verified byfactory but no factory letter available at time of cataloging. The pistol shows 30-50% evenly toning and aging blue and case hardened finish with just normal aging; good sharp edges, sharp markings and generallycrisp overall, with some slight wear at left side of muzzle from being carried in a holster. The front sight shows bright original blue and has been reduced just slightly, the hard rubber eagle grips fitimpeccably and are at least very good. All matching visible serial numbers, some marks on the cylinder pin and underside of barrel, good tight action and good bore.
