Colt Single Action Army revolver .44 Henry rimfire caliber, 7 ½” barrel with patina finish, wood grips, serial number 120 shipped to H & D Folsom Arms Company, New York, New York on September 21, 1875 with35 guns inshipment. Original factory letter and appraisal letter from recognized Midwest dealer are included. The Colt retains a gray to light brown patina finish with faint traces of original colors mixed in. There issome scattered light to moderate erosion and pitting with some small areas of slighty heavier pitting on the cylinder and edges of the ejector rod housing. The barrel address is the early italic style and remains sharpand fully visable. The two line patent dates are light but fully visible. The small .44 caliber marking on the bottom of barrel is visible also. The serial numbers are all matching and the frame and hammer slot showtheir correct configurations. The front sight has been slimmed slightly. The grips are fair to good with normal aging and there are small losses and chips at the toes. The barrel shows no evidence of being stretched
