The pistol is contemporarily engraved in the New Yorkscroll style and the pistol has been completely restored, refurbished, and upgraded to excellent condition for prominent Colt collector by master gunsmith Tom Haas Sr. A very attractive looking single-actionthat would be expensive to replicate at today’s custom gunsmith prices. Note: A .44-40 revolver 7-1/2” in engravable condition alone is worth $4,000 - $6,000, not including one-piece ivory grips at $1,500and plating, engraving, gunsmithing work.
