Colt Single Action Army revolver, .44-40 cal, 7-1/2" barrel, blue finish, factory C style custom scroll engraved including front sight and hammer, gold bands, screwless frame configuration with caliber marking on bottomof barrel by master engraver Ben Lane, ivory grips with recessed gold medallions, shipped to Cherry's Sporting Goods, Greensboro, NC, one gun in shipment, serial number SO7795A with factory letter confirming all featuresand original cost of nearly $9,500. The single action remains in excellent to min t condition, 99%+ to new, shows Ben Lane signature beneath trigger guard screw, and is a beautiful example of Lane's style which is heavily influenced by Helfrich, Nimsky and the master Colt engravers of the late 19th and 20th century. These screwless frames are an expensive and beautiful variation that allows the engraver a flat surface on bothsides of the frame with which to produce a more elaborate and detailed series of scrolls. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
