Colt Single Action Army revolver, .44-40 cal., 4-3/4" etched barrel, fully and finely master scroll engraved by Ben Lane; blue and gold finish, one piece deluxe burl wood grips, gold line inlays, special inlaidplaques on each side of grips, serial #133406 on antique black powder frame, in coffin-shaped green velveteen lined oak display case. The pistol shows 19th century style scroll engraving influenced byHelfricht, which we feel Ben Lane is currently the best at creating. The barrel shows profuse scroll, gold lines and geometrics, with cross hatched front sight and etched Colt Frontier Six Shooter. Thecylinder shows beautifully cut scrolls, gold bands and borders. The frame is beautifully engraved with 3-line patent dates and gold plated. The backstrap and trigger guard are engraved to match, with gold border inlaid at top of backstrap.
