Colt Single Action Army revolver, .44-40 cal., 4-3/4" barrel, factory engraved in class C Helfricht scroll by master Colt engraver Robert Burt, serial number Texan44-40 and supplied in factorypresentation case shipped March 12, 1993 to order #42319 with grips listed as black composition with eagle motif. Also letter confirms acid etched Colt frontier 6-shooter marking, beveled black powder type cylinderand one gun in shipment. With factory invoice and paperwork. The revolver is in excellent to mint condition, 99.9-100%, no evidence of firing, cocking or use, absolutely pristine. This single action wasspecially made for well known Texas Colt collector David Tate, who ordered the factory to create a 19th century style engraved single action with black powder frame, patent date and Helfricht style engraving. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
