Colt Single Action Army revolver .41 colt caliber, 4 ¾” barrel, re-nickel plated, simulated Pearl grips, serial number 226638. The revolver shows heavy polishing and barrel address and caliber markings have been removed. The frame shows patent dates but Colt logo polished out. The action works well and the bore is good. The front sight has been slimmed slightly. The visible serial numbers are all matching. The revolver is accompanied by a high quality modern holster and cartridge belt marked Desert Leather and Saddle D. Galli maker, Las Vegas, NV. Factory letter confirms caliber, barrel length and shipped May 16th 1902 to Stauffer & Co. New Orleans, LA, May 16th,1902 originally shipped blue finish. Gale Kennedy Historical West Collection.
