Colt Single Action Army revolver, .41 caliber, 5-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, hardrubber eagle grips, shipped to Hibbart, Spencer, and Bartlett, Chicago IL, November 14th, 1890, two guns inshipment. Serial #135525 with all features confirmed by factory letter except grips (not listed). The revolver remains in original very good plus condition showing 30-50% original blue on barrel drifting on its leftedge from being carried in a right hand holster. Very bright blue in protected areas, in the groove, and on ejector rod housing. The cylinder shows 20% blue, mostly in the flutes, drifting on the edge. The frame shows 40-60% case hardening evenly drifting and toning with some bright rainbow colors in the frame and where protected. The backstrap and triggerguard show good traces of blue. The hardrubber eagle grips show some even wearfrom carry. The markings are good, edges sharp, front sight slimmed slightly. The hammer shows considerable original blue, the action is tight, bore good. All matching visible serial numbers. A nicely tooled
