Colt Single Action Army revolver .38-40 caliber, 7-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, hardrubber grips, shipped to Whitney Sporting Goods Company, Denver, CO, may 23rd, 1928, one gun in shipment with allfeatures verified by factory letter, serial #349433. The revolver shows 50-70% original blue and case hardened finish drifting on the edges and barrel from holstering and handling. There is some light scatterederosion and pinprick pitting and just normal aging. There are some areas of bright blue and fiery case hardening. The balance is a natural aging process. The grips are good with some wear at the edges. The hammer shows some bright case hardening, at least 70% remains. The front sight is trimmed just slightly. The markings are sharp, action is crisp, bore excellent. A very nice Western shipped Colt single action. Note: Lettermentions one gun in shipment indicating special order. Est: $3,000 - $6,000
