Colt Single Action Army revolver, .38-40 caliber, 4-3/4” barrel, original blackpowder era, custom engraved and gold-inlaid with oversize checkered ivory grips, signed “K. Hurst” on bottom of frame over serial number. Ken Hurst is a well recognize master engraver who has executed masterpieces on custom order and for the Colt factory. The pistol shows fine quality scroll engraving in Western motifs with flush gold inlaid borders, white gold trail skull on left recoil shield. Nicely engrave hammer and feather-engraved front sight. Circular sunburst panel on ejector rod housing surrounded by gold border. The pistol shows a high-quality royal blue and bright case hardened finish which is exceptional quality. The oversized elephant ivory grips are nicely checkered and considerably fatter than normal for a big hand. The markings are sharp. The bore is slightly rough. A nice combination of antiquity and modern embellishment. Est: $3,500 - $7,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
