Colt Single Action Army revolver, .38-40 cal., 4-3/4" barrel, blue and case hardened finish, hard rubber grips, shipped to C. L. Bering Co., Houston, TX Aug 30, 1922, three guns in shipment, serial #343451, allfeatures verified by factory letter except grips not listed, (refer to Lot #1604 for Colt SAA belonging to Sheriff Bill Decker which was shipped in same shipment to same location.). The revolver remains in original good condition showing 20-40% original blue and case hardening, scattered light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting, with some heavier areas on the edges of the cylinder, loading gate, and ejector rodhousing. The pitting is of the type caused by a holster and moisture. The markings are good, the grips are good, the action tight, the bore good, the front sight is full height. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
